The Method to Get Out of Suffering: The Three Higher Trainings

In Buddhism the three higher trainings are the practical steps Buddha taught to escape mental pain and daily suffering. The practice of the stages of the path to liberation can be condensed into the three higher trainings of higher moral discipline, higher concentration and higher wisdom. Motivated by renunciation, our wish to be free from suffering, they are therefore the actual path to liberation that we need to practice.

In this series we will explore these steps through guided meditations, and learn how to incorporate this training into our daily lives.

11/3 Motivating Ourselves
