The Empowerment of the Buddha of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara

Saturday | April 8th | 10 am – 4:30 pm

In-Person
Cost: $45
Serlingpa Meditation Center, 514 Pleasant Street, New Bedford MA

Buddha Avalokiteshvara is the embodiment of the compassion of all enlightened beings. This empowerment is a sublime guided meditation, through which we develop a relationship with Guru Avalokiteshvara and connect with a beautiful optimistic vision of possibility, and transformation in which we receive and radiate love, compassion, and wisdom.
“When we become a Buddha, our happiness, radiates, eternally as compassion, nourishing all living beings, and gradually drawing them into the same state. “-Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, How to Transform Your Life.
Through imagination, guided meditation, and blessings, we feel personally empowered to become the person we wish to be, and progress towards our own enlightenment.
This event is suitable for everyone.

TEACHER

Gerry Donovan, Resident Teacher of Serlingpa Meditation Center, has been a disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche since 2006. He recently completed the six month intensive teacher training program at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre in England. Gerry has taught for several years at Serlingpa and has also served as its Admin Director for a few years
