Listening has many functions in a spiritual life: it is a way of expressing love toward others, it is an opportunity to practice consideration, and it is a way of increasing our understanding and experience of Dharma. Everyone can improve their listening.
This morning meditation workshop will explore aspects of Buddhist psychology that improve our practice of listening, with a focus on methods of training the mind of listening to spiritual teachings.
By improving our listening, the true meaning of Dharma takes root within our heart. Listening in this positive and powerful way empowers our contemplations and meditations and enables us to bring more kindness and harmony into the world.
Both sessions, guided by KMCB Resident Teacher, Gen Khedrub, include teaching and time for contemplation and will be followed by a Q & A.
