Living With Heartbreak
When our heart breaks, it is easy to feel hopeless or apathetic. Whether it is because of a significant loss, disappointment with our life, fears regarding the world-at-large, or a scary life event, it can feel impossible to feel hopeful.
This workshop will provide a chance for each participant to investigate these areas of inner heartbreak in a kind and gentle manner. Using authentic and accessible instructions from Buddhist teachings, Kadam Kyle will provide guidance about how to move forward in life when we reach these places of despair and sadness.
In particular, we will look at how to work with expectations, understand impermanence and how things change, and how to, at least, reduce the intensity of painful emotions and give ourselves space to heal.
