There is a difference between saying “Things should change” and BEING the change.
In Buddhism there is no more admirable ideal and role model than that of a Bodhisattva – someone using his or her life to progress towards enlightenment, empowered by love and compassion for all beings. This truly is someone who doesn’t use meditation as an escape or to merely feel better.
Instead, one learns to radically transform their mind through meditation into an empowered, courageous, altruistic attitude. As a result, our meditation brings us deep happiness and peace, but we also become an unstoppable force for good in the world.
By changing our perception of ourselves we change who we are. In this weekend course with Kadam Kyle, we will see how the experience of emptiness will revolutionize our sense of what’s possible, providing us the opportunity to relish the joyful and meaningful life of a Bodhisattva.
Two sessions: 10 – 11:15a & 11:45 – 1p.
Everyone welcome!
