How do we cope with the uncertainty and instability of our chaotic modern world without getting overwhelmed, angry or living in a constant state of anxiety? How can we maintain wisdom and compassion in the face of distressing events?
In these three sessions, we will learn practical methods for transforming adversity from the point of view of Buddhist psychology and meditative practice. Specifically, we will see how meditations on patient acceptance, seeing the connection between our mind and our world, and letting go of a selfish point of view can create the freedom to respond strongly, courageously, and creatively to the perceived difficulties in our life.
