Buddha Vajrapani is the Buddha of spiritual power.

He appears in a wrathful aspect and his function is to destroy the delusions of living beings by bestowing special power upon their body and mind. Through relying upon him, we will develop the strength to overcome the obstacles and hindrances of daily life and experience true joy and freedom. Resident Teacher, Kyle Davis, will grant the empowerment and give commentary to the practice of Buddha Vajrapani and explain how we can continue to receive his special inspiration in our daily life.

An empowerment is a blessing ceremony where we make a special connection with an enlightened being, or Buddha, and receive their help and inspiration. In this empowerment we have the opportunity to make a connection with Vajrapani, the Buddha of Spiritual Power. Vajrapani is an emanation of Buddha Vajradhara whose function is to destroy the delusions of living beings by bestowing special power upon their body and mind. By engaging in the practice of Vajrapani we can destroy all our delusions, and eventually attain the supreme happiness of enlightenment.
